1. About CleanIt

CleanIt is a behavior-based, reward-driven platform designed to encourage daily household waste segregation through verified submissions using QR codes, live camera uploads, location tagging, and time-stamped proof.

2. Eligibility

• CleanIt is open to users of all ages.
• Users below 18 years are encouraged to use the app under parental or guardian supervision.
• By using the App, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and lawful.

3. User Account & Responsibility

• Each household is assigned a unique CleanIt QR code.
• Only one valid submission per QR code per day is allowed.
• Users are responsible for ensuring:
  • The QR code is clearly visible in the photo
  • The photo is taken using the live camera only
  • The submission reflects genuine waste segregation

Any attempt to manipulate, reuse, or falsify submissions may lead to penalties.

4. Submission Rules

To ensure fairness and authenticity, the following rules apply:

• Gallery uploads are strictly prohibited
• GPS location and timestamp are mandatory
• Duplicate or multiple submissions per day are automatically blocked
• Submissions without a visible QR code will be rejected

5. Verification & Approval

• All submissions are subject to AI-based and/or manual verification.
• Rewards are credited only after successful approval.
• CleanIt reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet quality or compliance standards.

6. Rewards & Eco-Points

• Rewards earned are non-monetary eco-points
• Eco-points can be redeemed only within the CleanIt in-app marketplace
• Rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable
• CleanIt may modify reward rules, partners, or redemption options at any time

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Upload fake, reused, or manipulated images
• Attempt to bypass app rules or security systems
• Use abusive, harmful, or misleading content
• Exploit bugs or loopholes to gain unfair rewards

Violation may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

8. Data Collection & Privacy

CleanIt may collect:

• Camera images (only during submission)
• QR code data
• GPS location
• Device and app usage data

All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. CleanIt does not sell personal data to third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, branding, logos, design, and software are the property of CleanIt.
• Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

10. Service Availability

• CleanIt does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Features may change, pause, or discontinue without prior notice.
• CleanIt is not liable for data loss, reward delays, or technical issues beyond reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CleanIt shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Use of the App is at your own risk

12. Termination

CleanIt reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms
• Remove access without notice in cases of fraud or misuse

13. Changes to Terms

CleanIt may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
